Outsourcing, offshore staff leasing, and other related terms have been consistently making it to the headlines over the past few years. Thus, it is only practical for IT professionals and local employees (particularly in the US) to worry about the status of their employment. After all, the inconsistencies in the financial market could compel US firms to outsource jobs instead in a drastic measure to reduce costs. Outsourcing jobs have indeed taken a huge rise in the past years, but does it also have a direct impact on the nosedive of local employment opportunities?
Recently, President Barack Obama encouraged US business owners to keep jobs within the country instead of sending them overseas by giving tax breaks to firms who opt for any form of outsourcing, while rewarding those who help create jobs for America.
